Let’s be honest: There’s no better feeling than watching a football match with your mates at the local pub.
Whilst it might be fun to sit around and watch the matches at home, nothing beats the buzz of being surrounded by supporters of your club as well as the opposition in crammed quarters and enjoying a real football atmosphere. Throw in beer and the occasional profanity and you’ve got the closest thing to being at the actual match!
For those of you who’ve never been to a pub to watch a match, ESPN360.com and Verizon are hoping to change that by bring the atmosphere of a European night to a number of pubs across the United States. Aside from the beer and the chance to skip out on work to watch Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona amongst others, you’ll also get the chance to watch BOTH games on Tuesday and Wednesday at the locations listed below.
Seriously, do you really want to sit at the office or at home by yourself watching the matches on television? I think not.
So make some time to go to a pub listed below if you live in one of these East Coast cities.
