Chelsea have agreed a deal with Swiss side Basel for the transfer of Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah for a fee believed to be around £11m.
The club made the announcement on their official website, with the deal subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.

The 21-year-old Salah had been expected to join Liverpool, with the Premier League side reportedly having also agreed a deal with Basel. But Chelsea have moved fast to secure the player, with young attacker a direct replacement for Manchester United-bound Juan Mata.
All eyes are now fixed on updates concerning Mata, as the Spaniard is now expected to complete his move to Manchester in the coming hours.
