Finally, there is some good news for Chelsea fans! Dazzling Belgian winger Eden Hazard has confirmed that he will stay at the Stamford Bridge club next season and will wear the number ten shirt, thus crushing rumours which have been linking him to French Ligue One Champions Paris St Germain.
Hazrad who arrived at Chelsea in 2012 from French side Lille has been wearing the number 17 shirt was delighted to break the news that he would now wear the iconic number ten.

“I am very pleased to be able to wear the number 10 for Chelsea. It is my favourite number and is one I am used to wearing for the national team, as well as the one worn by some of my heroes from when I was a kid, like Zinedine Zidane.”
“I hope it brings me a lot of luck in the future and I look forward to the fans seeing me in it next season.”
The Belgian will take over the number ten shirt vacated after Juan Mata left for Manchester United in the January Transfer window.
Chelsea fans who already bought a new sweater from Hazard with number 17, can redeem the same for free. The surrendered shirts will go to the Chelsea Foundation, the charitable organization of the club.
