Benfica attacker Anderson Talisca has claimed that Jose Mourinho wants to sign him for Manchester United this summer.

The Red Devils have already completed the signing of Victor Lindelof from Benfica and could soon be raiding the Portuguese side for a second time with a move for their versatile star.

Talisca completed the first season of a two-year loan deal at Besiktas where he scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 33 appearances and has reportedly attracted interest from several Premier League clubs including Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, if the Brazilian is to be believed.

The 23-year-old told Globosport: “I can’t talk about Manchester United. It’s not just up to me.”

“I’ve had a good season, and Mourinho has a love [for me] that exists, I will not lie.

“It’s a dream, something that all players want. As I said, his love is old and I like his work. He’s a great coach and I hope everything works out.”

According to the Sun, Talisca, who is comfortable of playing in midfield and upfront, has a £20 million release clause in his contract at Benfica.

Benfica will be reluctant to let go their another prized player this summer but the Aguias will be helpless if Manchester United or any other team meet Talisca’s buy-out clause.
