Leeds United secured a narrow 2-1 home win against Sheffield United – Jack Harrison and Phil Jagielka (OG) were on the scoresheet for Marcelo Bielsa’s team.
Aston Villa battled back from a goal down to secure a 3-1 home victory over Fulham – Trezeguet (2) and Ollie Watkins bagged the goals.
Joe Willock’s late goal sealed a valuable 2-2 draw for Newcastle United at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Southampton recovered from two goals down to seal a 3-2 win over Burnley – Stuart Armstrong, Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond were on target for the home side.
