Liverpool looks to go top of the table with a victory as they travel to Upton Park on Saturday to face West Ham.
For Liverpool, Xabi Alonso will miss the game after last week’s vicious tackle by Joey Barton, but Fernando Torres and Javier Mascherano have been ruled fit to play. A loss or draw for Liverpool would effectively kill their chances of catching Manchester United. Torres and Gerrard will need to provide the form they’ve shown all season to earn 3 points against a solid West Ham side.
