Rangers fans react to Charlie Adam’s admission about Ibrox move

Former Glasgow Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam has expressed his desire to return to the Ibrox club in the January transfer window.

The 26-cap Scotland international started his senior career with the Gers, and spent six years at the Ibrox club before moving to Blackpool.

Adam admitted, at a William Hill event via the Daily Record, that he is ‘absolutely’ interested in returning to his former club.

The former Liverpool midfielder has managed just 150 minutes of football this season for Stoke City. The 33-year-old will be a free agent next summer, and he has issued a ‘come-and-get-me-plea’.

Rangers are in the hunt to sign a midfielder in January after Ovie Ejaria’s loan spell was terminated. However, majority of the Gers fans do not want Adam back at the club, as they believe he is not suited to the high pressing football under Steven Gerrard.
