Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a target for Manchester United this summer.
The Premier League giants failed with their initial bid to sign him as Dortmund claimed that the star is not for sale at any price this summer.
However, according to latest reports from Kicker, Dortmund’s stance on the situation has changed. The player has refused to sign a new deal and his agent has confirmed that he wants to complete his dream transfer to Manchester United.
The German giants are now willing to sell the player for a fee of 40 million Euros.
Manchester United will now have to increase their initial offer of 24 million euros in order to land the top quality attacking midfielder this summer.
Dortmund’s willingness to sell the player will come as a major boost to the player, his agent and Manchester United.
Mkhitaryan scored 19 goals and produced 24 assists last season.
In other news, Mourinho is looking to raid his former club Chelsea for their best defender this summer.
Spanish international Cesar Azpilicueta has been a major hit at Stamford Bridge ever since he signed from Ligue 1 and Jose Mourinho is looking to bring him to Old Trafford.
According to Mirror, Conte is looking to sign Lichtsteiner and Asamoah as full backs from Juventus and Mourinho is therefore interested in the Spaniard.
Azpilicueta is undoubtedly Chelsea’s best defender right now and can play as a right back as well as a left back.
The Spaniard could be a huge asset for Jose Mourinho if he managed to pull off the transfer.
The 26 year old has 3 years remaining on his current contract and is likely to cost a bomb.
