Manchester United are emerging as strong favourites to sign Domenico Berardi, who is touted as one of the finest young talents in Italy.
One of the best thing about covering transfer reports from Italy is, there is no shortage of rumours. And the Italian players are mostly linked with the top Premier League clubs. The Italian newspapers and the websites dedicate a lot of space for covering transfer rumours on a daily basis.
Niccolo Ceccarini is a journalist, expertise in covering transfer stories, working for TMW claims that Manchester United are showing a strong intent in signing Berardi in the summer.
The 21-year-old forward has been previously linked with Chelsea and Liverpool as well, but it seems Manchester United are stepping up an interest in him.
Ceccarini claims that German giants Bayern Munich are equally interested for his signature, and there is a high chance that the player could be sold next summer.
The boy from Cariati, who plays for Sassuolo would command a transfer fee in the region of €25m, which seems a big too much for a player who has yet to establish himself properly at a big stage.
He has made 118 appearances for Sassuolo, since making his senior debut in 2012, and has scored 48 league goals already.
Gunners’ bid for Nigerian striker?

The 19-year-old Nigerian striker has joined the Giallorossi this season, on loan from Spezia. Roma have the option of signing him permanently for €2.5m.
