Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal and Tottenham last summer. The French midfielder was keen to move on but he was persuaded to stay in the end by Ronald Koeman.
He is enjoying another brilliant season for the Saints, however, his future could be a talking point in the summer, after he admitted that clubs are interested in signing him.
The 25-year-old has been repeatedly linked by English press with a move to Arsenal, but the midfielder has insisted he has not been in contact with Arsene Wenger.
“I haven’t had contact with Wenger,” Schneiderlin told Canal+. “Clubs are interested in me but I’ve not given my word to anyone.”
Morgan Schneiderlin to Canal +: “I have a contract until 2017. Today, I aspire to play at the highest level.”
