In a shocker of a result at Anfield, Fernando Torres has overcome Chelsea. A brace of goals from the Spaniard saw Liverpool cruise to a 2-0 victory over the English Premier League leaders and the unstoppable Blue force.
Finally, Carlo Ancelotti ran into someone who had an answer for him – not Roy Hodgson, Fernando Torres! The man is known to go down to the ground on the slightest of contact but also known to not take a fall if he knows he can put the ball into the net.
After a mediocre World Cup, an injury-struck start of the season, Torres could not have found a better time to start scoring again. Liverpool is recovering both financially and in terms of performances, they have already been written out of the top four and Torres has probably answered most of questions raised about him recently.
