According to The Sun, Everton are ready to renew interest in £20million-rated Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier this summer.

The 28-year-old has two years left on his current contract at the north London club, but manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to be keen to let him go as he eyes Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka as replacement.

The Toffees currently have 30-year-old Seamus Coleman as their first-choice right-back, and manager Marco Silva could look to make necessary squad adjustments this summer.

Trippier’s form has dropped this term, but he has managed to record three assists and one goal in 23 Premier League appearances for Spurs thus far.

Everton are looking to become a top-six side and will be splashing the cash again when the transfer window opens this summer.

The 28-year-old brings loads of experience and quality to the table, and he will be a great addition to the Toffees’ defensive ranks if a move to Goodison Park indeed comes to fruition.
