Chelsea are set to appoint Antonio Conte as their manager for next season. The Blues are expected to finalise the transfer by the end of this week.
According to reports, Chelsea have moved swiftly to secure the services of the Italian manager and he will replace Guus Hiddink as Mourinho’s long-term successor at Stamford Bridge next season.
Conte is expected to earn around £14.25m during his three-year contract with the Premier League giants.
Reports are also claiming that Conte’s agent is flying to London in order to tie up the deal as soon as possible.
The former Juventus manager would be a fantastic addition for the Blues. Chelsea are in need of someone who can rebuild their side and Conte fits the profile perfectly.
Although Hiddink has done well since taking over from the Chelsea fan favourite Jose Mourinho, the Dutchman is expected to leave at the end of the season.
Conte has won 3 Serie A titles with Juventus and will be expected to take Chelsea back to the top of English football once again.
The Blues won the Premier League under Jose Mourinho last season.
