Juventus played a solid defensive match to hold onto their 2-1 aggregate lead over Ajax Amsterdam on Thursday.
Each team had several chances and Juventus had a header off the post in the first half but neither would score in the entire match. Juventus had the better chances throughout the match but didn’t push too many players forward as they didn’t need to score.
Ajax had trouble getting many great chances and were held to shots from long range. The Dutch side didn’t play bad but just faced a surging Juventus side that is one of the favorites to win the whole competition.
