Arsenal host Manchester United in Wednesday’s crucial Premier League clash at the Emirates, with both sides looking to bounce back from disappointing results at the weekend.
The Gunners were comprehensively dismantled by Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool on Saturday, with Mikel Arteta the extent of Arsene Wenger’s fury during the 5-1 defeat,
“The manager was really upset at half-time, that’s normal because it wasn’t good enough for this football club. It was the angriest I have seen him,” said the Spaniard (via the Guardian).

Arsenal will be desperate to put their title bid back on track with a win against eternal foes Manchester United, who themselves suffered a poor result at home to Fulham.
Team News:
Defence: Kieran Gibbs is in line for a recall, with Nacho Monreal potentially dropping to the bench. The rest of the back four should remain unchanged, with Thomas Vermaelen still nursing a knee injury.
Midfield: Wenger may drop Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in favour of the experianced Tomas Rosicky, with the Arsenal boss wary of the damage a second successive loss could bring. The recently malaigned Mesut Ozil should remain the side’s creative hub, with Jack Wilshere anchoring the midfield alongside Mikel Arteta.
Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott remained sidelined.
Attack: Olivier Giroud seems to be under no threat, with the Frenchman set to continue his one man mission up top for the Gunners.
