With a victory over Manchester City on Monday, Chelsea are now just two points behind London rivals Arsenal. For the first time in many years, we are witnessing a genuine three-horse title-race, excluding Manchester United.

Obviously, Chelsea are one of the favourites to win the title and with Jose Mourinho, the expectations are always high.

The Portuguese also believes that his side can go all the way and win the Premier League title but in his typical manner he has kept his team as under-dogs. He insists his side to be considered outsiders in the title race.

“We can,” he said, but quickly adding the caveat: “If they lose it.

“I think City is an amazing team, while Arsenal have been working for many years on the evolution of that team.

“What we’re doing this season, Arsenal have been doing for four, five, six years. So I think we’re not the favourites.”

Mourinho further added that Liverpool are a “great team” and considers them as favourites as well as they are the only contenders without the burden of European football.

Meanwhile, Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic, who was once a target of Arsenal, said that he has made the best decision by joining City.

The 24-year-old was heavily linked with Arsenal in the past, while the player himself said he always had an affinity with the North London club.

In an interview with BeInSport, Jovetic said:

“Surely these 4-5 months have been difficult at the beginning because I was not playing, then I got injured often but now it is all behind.

“I never doubted myself even in the most difficult moments, I knew that I could play in this team and now I have to prove.”

“ City? Nastasic and I talked a lot, he convinced me and I decided to come here because there is a project with many important players.”

“I should have come the year before, but I was and I had a nice season with Montella and Fiorentina. There was also the Real Madrid, but I chose the City.”

The Montenegro international came on as a sub against City and nearly scored a goal in the dying minutes of the match, forcing a brilliant save from Petr Cech.
