Swiss full back, Stephan Lichtsteiner has been linked with a move away from Italy over the last few months. The Swiss international has been pivotal in the rise of Bianconeri under Antonio Conte and is still a key figure in the dressing room for Max Allegri.
However, with the robust right back, nearing the end of his current deal, several European clubs have shown concrete interest. In a market where there is a growing need for reliable full backs, Lichtsteiner comes with enormous experience and proven quality, at the very top level and is an attractive proposition for clubs like PSG and Arsenal.
PSG has been mooted as a possible destination for the Swiss full back, with media reports stating that the Juventus player would be keen to accept a new challenge in France.
According to reports from Italain media outlet TMW earlier today, the Juventus hierarchy have been locked in talks with Lichtsteiner’s agent and they believe the two parties will reach a swift conclusion soon. Despite Juventus being the first priority for Lichtsteiner, the player’s camp has refused to rule out anything in near future, following the interest of European heavyweights such as Arsenal.
