“Was That Swing Made in China?”: Donald Trump Heckled by On-Lookers at LIV Golf Pro-am

As former president Donald Trump teed off on his very own course for the LIV pro-am tournament in Bedminster, a group of vocal hecklers attempted to hurl insults at the 76-year-old mid-swing.

Footage of the comical exchange, in which Trump quips back with his own remarks, was captured last week as the LIV Golf pro-am tournament got underway in New Jersey.

See the footage for yourself below.

Playing alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson, as well second son Eric, the divisive former US leader teed off to a backdrop of applause from presumably a carefully selected entourage – there are no fans on the opening day.

However, later footage emerged showing a chancy group testing the water of how far they could in an attempt to put Trump off his swing.

Donning his signature ‘Make America Great Again’ cap, one member of the crowd can be heard saying; “You built a golf course just to miss this green,” before another adds “that swing looks a little broken, was it made in China?”

The Republican, who looks set to run for the Presidency once again if rumours are true, snaps back saying, “I don’t know – too much is made in China.”

Rather fittingly, the swing ends up in a nearby pond, prompting one more zing from the group; “a little short, like your second term”.

The hecklers were revealed as members of the Country Club Adjacent podcast, and the prank was shared on their TikTok platform, being viewed over 10 million times since it was posted last Wednesday.
