The summer transfer window may be over but the rumour mill is omnipresent. Despite domestic leagues and European competitions in full flow there are lot to speculate as we anticipate the ‘fast approaching’ January transfer window.

Radamel Falcao set to leave Chelsea in January?:

According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, who have cited the British Press, Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao could leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window. The Colombian has endured a miserable loan spell so far at the Stamford Bridge side since his arrival in the summer and has failed to make any sort of impact at the club.

Turkish Football, a media outlet from Turkey however have brought forward an interesting story on the matter. Fenerbache, who are linked with the 29 year old have come out and made a statement, as per the report, in which they have ridiculed the Fotomac newspaper, the latter who claim that the club are willing to sign Falcao.

Fenerbache claim that their transfer committee are not considering making a move as they are happy with their current set of strikers. However a statement read, “Considering how keen Fotomaç are to make the transfer happen we give them permission to go ahead and sign him for us.”

Having said that, it will be interesting to see if Falcao does at Chelsea after the January transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp looking to poach Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici:

According to Calciomercato Liverpool have made an approach for Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici, but the Italian has reportedly turned down the offer. Tottenham are also interested in the 43 year old but the White Hart Lane side also failed in their attempt to poach the Bianconeri chief. Chelsea too have failed in their attempt to recruit the much wanted Italian.

Paratici was also approached by Spurs during the summer as his contract with Juventus was set to expire. However having renewed it, there is no chance that the Sporting Director will leave Turin soon. Paratici has a good record on bringing players on free transfers to the Italian Champions. Just ask Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo and Sami Khedira.

Arsenal hit roadblock in pursuit of Juventus striker Simone Zaza:

Back in September we had reported that Arsenal could make a £22m offer to Juventus for Italian striker Simone Zaza in the upcoming January transfer window. However, the player’s agent has now ruled out any sort of move relating to his client.

It was believed that Zaza could move in January in search of more game time elsewhere to secure a place for himself in the Italian national team for Euro 2016. However the striker’s agent, Christian Maifredi has claimed, as per Football Italia, “Simone is very relaxed, he’s growing and improving.”

“Obviously when you step up a level, there are more difficulties than you are accustomed to. We are not taking a January loan spell into consideration. He is happy in Turin, will give everything for Juventus and represents the future of the Old Lady.”
