The summer transfer window may be over but the rumour mill is omnipresent. Despite domestic leagues and European competitions in full flow there are lot to speculate as we anticipate the ‘fast approaching’ January transfer window.
We bring you a roundup of all the latest transfer stories including a January move for a Chelsea midfielder while Liverpool are looking at the possibility of recalling a player from loan. Arsenal meanwhile are still interested in a Real Madrid player
Juan Cuadrado set to join Juventus on a permanent deal:
According to reports from Italian media outlet Gazzetta World Juventus have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado on a permanent basis in the upcoming January transfer window.
The report states that the Bianconeri will pay €22m to Chelsea for the player and the move is expected to be made official once the transfer window reopens in the new year. The 27 year old found first team football hard to come by at Stamford Bridge and failed to make an impact with the limited chances that he had. With the arrival of Pedro in the summer, Cuadrado was loaned to Juventus where he has been in superb form.
Its a pity for Chelsea as Cuadrado was signed for £27m in January earlier this year from Fiorentina but he never quite settled down in England.
Jurgen Klopp considering to recall Lazar Markovic back from his loan spell:
According to the Liverpool Echo, new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is considering to recall Lazar Markovic back from his loan spell from Fenerbahce in the January transfer window.
The report states that Klopp is an admirer of the Serbian winger and could recall the 21-year-old from the Turkish side in order to improve the Red’s squad depth for the second half of the season. Markovic hardly settled down at Anfield since his £20m move from Benfica scoring just 3 goals in 23 starts in all competitions under former manager Brendan Rodgers.
With Klopp now in charge and Markovic dazzling with Fenerbache, the 21 year old Liverpool career could finally take off.
Arsenal ready to make €45m bid for Real Madrid star Isco:
Spanish media outlet Fichajes claim that Arsenal are ready to make a €45m bid for Real Madrid midfielder Isco in the winter transfer window.
The Gunners have been long linked with the Spaniard and it is believed that Arsene Wenger could finally make a move for the player who has been getting limited game time under Rafa Benitez at the Bernabeu. However, it is highly unlikely that Madrid will sell before signing a replacement. Moreover, Isco is one the hottest young prospects across Europe and the Spanish giants see the player as a future star at the club.
