We had cited reports from Spain claiming that Chelsea are preparing a formal bid to sign the Kiev forward, who would cost around €25m. It is believed that Mourinho has spoken with the player’s agent, Mikhail Gulordava, and it seems Chelsea are laying the groundwork necessary to sign the forward in the January transfer window.

The Daily Express have now reported that Yarmolenko has spoken up on rumours despite signing a new deal at his current club.

The striker who put put pen to paper on a five-year deal said he could leave for a top club if a serious proposal arrives. Yarmolenko said, “I still want to try my hand at some of the top championships as part of one of the strongest European clubs. I know that if Dynamo do receive a really serious proposal, we will find an option that will suit all parties.”

“Frankly, I really want for my club received adequate training compensation. I could have soon left for free, but I felt that on my part it would be wrong.” The report states that Liverpool are also interested in the 25 year old.

Manchester United keeping tabs on Newcastle striker Ayoze Perez:

The Newcastle Chronicle reports that Manchester United are keeping tabs on Newcastle striker Ayoze Perez who has continued to impress for the Magpies since his arrival from Spanish side Tenerife.

Newcastle had earlier resisted Tottenham’s approach for the 22-year-old in the summer but Manchester United will be a different proposition in the coming January transfer window. With Anthony Martial making an instant impact since his deadline day move from Monaco and Wayne Rooney struggling to hit form, Louis Van Gaal could be tempted to make a move for the young Spaniard.
