Roger Federer is a name that is not very common in football but his ‘dream came true’ when he met Pele while in Brazil for the Gerry Weber Open.
What is interesting for football fans is that during a tennis match in Sao Paulo, Federer donned the famous Brazil home kit and emerged onto the court with an over-sized tennis ball.
Federer and his opponent, the wild-card from Germany, Tommy Haas played a little game of ‘football tennis’ – Haas was wearing the Brazil away shirt.
