The new season of the Premier League will go underway as all 20 teams in the league will be in action on the on August 16.
Louis van Gaal will kick-start the season with his first major game as Manchester United manager against Swansea City at Old Trafford. The English champions Manchester City and Chelsea are away from home as they face Newcastle United and newly promoted club Burnley respectively.
Arsenal host Crystal Palace at the Emirates, while Southampton make a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool for the opening day fixture. The first big of the season will take place in the second week of the season.
