Here are five things we learned this week.

Nathaniel Clyne is a ‘dream comes true’

The new Liverpool signing has been impeccable in his first two games for the club and was once again that best player on the pitch against Bournemouth yesterday.

The former Southampton right back has been defensively solid and assuring going forward for Brendan Rodgers’ new look Liverpool. Clyne looks at home already and for the price Liverpool paid, the England man could well end up as the best summer signing.

As for Liverpool fans, who have been treated to Glen Johnson over the years, it’s a dream come true.

Chelsea need a central midfielder

Cesc Fabregas lacks the tactical intelligence to defend. There are no two ways about it.

Do it Jose! Chelsea need to sign a midfielder

Jose Mourinho needs to operate with a three man midfield in order to paper over the other weaknesses in his side and in order to play the formation, Chelsea need to sign a box to box midfielder with defensive discipline.

Although it is hard to find one at the moment, Axel Witsel could do a good job for Jose.

Manchester City are coming for their crown

After a shocking title defense last season, City are back. Pellegrini’s men have regrouped, they have strengthened and look motivated.

The likes of Yaya Toure and Kompany look fresh and hungry so far and will be key players if City are to regain their status as the Champions of England.

With Otamendi set to arrive, Blue moon might just be rising again.

Mesut Ozil – Don’t hate, appreciate

The German midfielder has been criticized week in week out ever since he joined Arsenal.

However, the former Real Madrid man has been brilliant since the turn of the year and was instrumental in Arsenal’s win against Palace.

Cazorla walked away with the Man of the Match, but Ozil was spectacular yet again.

Spurs need to create

Every year it’s the same story with Tottenham. Can they break into top four and play in the Champions league?

Questions for Pochettino as Spurs struggle to create

Well, the answer is no. Not unless they can create goalscoring chances. Based on their two opening games, Spurs have worked their socks off in the midfield, but failed to create clear cut chances.

Apart from a striker, Spurs are in desperate need of a creator too. Eriksen’s inconsistency means that he cannot be relied upon over 38 games.
