Liverpool will travel to North London to face Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Cup tie on Sunday, looking to end their Emirates jinx.

The Reds are buoyed by their recent Premier League results – back to back victories against Arsenal and Fulham – that has helped them consolidate their 4th position in the league and will travel to London with high expectations, as Brendan Rodgers said that the Reds are aiming to win the FA Cup this season.

Ahead of the match, manager Brendan Rodgers revealed that right back Glen Johnson is making rapid progress on fitness but will be doubtful for this tie. Daniel Agger came on as a sub against Fulham in the last match and could replace Kolo Toure on Sunday.

One of the major advantages Liverpool have over other rivals is that they do not have any European commitment this season. This has enabled them to keep their players fresh and field best XI week in week out.

While Arsenal have a crunch midweek tie against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and Wenger will be looking to rest few players; Liverpool on the other hand will have to wait next weekend for the next match. Rodgers has already mentioned he won’t make any changes from the team that earned a 3-2 victory over Fulham at the Craven Cottage on Wednesday.

Prediction: 1-2; The Reds are in tremendous form at the moment and expect them to finally end their Emirates jinx on Sunday.
