After a grueling few weeks of club football action, it’s time to switch over to international matches, and four of the Premier League’s top German footballers have jetted back to their homeland for the international week.
Arsenal’s record signing, Mesut Ozil, posted a picture of himself with fellow club team-mates Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker and international team-mate Andre Schurrle, who netted a hat-trick against Fulham on Saturday.
Germany will face Chile midweek, in what will be their last international friendly before the World Cup warm-up matches.
