Robin van Persie is edging closer towards Manchester United exit as the star striker completed his medical before his impending move to Fenerbahçe.
The Dutch international was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson from Arsenal in 2012. In his debut season, he went on to win the Premier League title and was the leading scorer in the league during the 2012-13 season.
However, the former Arsenal captain struggled under David Moyes. Things did not changces since Louis van Gaal replaced the former Everton manager last season, as injuries, coupled with poor form saw a dip in his performance.
Van Persie has one year left on his contract and he is set for Old Trafford exit in the summer transfer window. Reputed journalist Gianluca Di Marzio tweeted the picture of the Dutchman having his medical before his move to Fenerbahçe.

It is believed the 31-year-old will travel to Turkey and the deal is likely to be completed within the next few days. He will follow Portuguese winger Luis Nani to Fenerbahçe as he was also shown the exit door by the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager.
