Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that he is in negotiations for Paulo Dybala but will not reveal with whom. Dybala is one of the sought after strikers in Europe and Zamparini had earlier announced that he will be selling the highly sought after youngster to the highest bidder in the coming summer transfer window.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are all interested in the player while It is believed that Paris St Germain, Napoli and Juventus are also interested to sign the high flying Argentine. Zamparini though had mentioned that the player’s transfer price is out of reach for fellow Italian clubs.
Dybala has been in stunning from this season having scored 12 times and grabbed 7 assists in 25 appearances this term. Football Italia have quoted Zamparini saying, to Corriere Dello Sport, “I’m moving ahead with negotiations.”
“We’re evaluating a series of offers in a calm manner for the good of the lad’s future, we’ve got plenty of time. Dybala’s agent, Pierpaolo Triulzi, is a very good person. I met him in Rome and we discussed things man-to-man.”
“Of course, replacing him [Dybala] will not be easy. We’re looking for players from abroad to create a stronger team than the current one. [Coach Beppe] Iachini has another year of experience in Serie A, and he needs a proper team that is created not by spending a lot of money, but by spending it well.”
Zamparini had earlier said that Dybala could reach the levels of Lionel Messi and quoted his price around €40m.
