Manchester United are ready to try their luck again for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas and are ready to bid €30m for former Arsenal skipper.
Readers might remember that Manchester United were heavily interested in Fabregas last summer and had even lodged formal offers, but Barcelona refused to part ways with the Spain international.
The Metro reported couple of days back that Fabregas “has been told that he will be part of a squad clear out this summer” while added “has failed to impress since re-joining boyhood club Barca.”
Well, Fabregas has recently come under bit of criticism for his recent lacklustre performances, but then again, same applies for Leo Messi as well. With 8 goals and 12 assists already, “failed to impress” sounds harsh and unfair.
The report has been published in Catalan newspaper Sport as well, but they used Metro as their source.
While it is highly possible that David Moyes could be targeting Fabregas again but with transfer ban imposed on Barcelona, would they be willing to part ways with the 26-year-old midfielder? We doubt.
