Inter Milan have done few smart signings this summer already. They are looking to keep hold of some of their star players at the same time as the Serie A giants are targeting to mount a serious challenge for the European spot this season.
Argentine striker Mauro Icardi scored nine goals last season and is one of the promising talents in world football. He has shown great promises last season and as natural consequence, several European heavyweights are showing keen interest in signing the former Sampdoria striker.
One of those interested clubs is Monaco. The French giants having already sold James Rodriguez to Real Madrid are looking to use the money to sign quality young talents. They have set their sight on the 21-year-old and had even lodged a €25m bid, which was rebuffed.
French magazine Le 10 Sport claim that Premier League giants Liverpool are also thought to be interested in him, but the Reds haven’t made any official move for the highly rated youngster.
At this stage we really don’t know whether the interest in the player is genuine or not, but Catalan press believe that Atletico Madrid are also showing bit of interest in signing him. Liverpool are looking to add one more striker to their ranks, but hard to see them paying such hefty transfer fee on an unproven youngster.
