Chelsea are thought to be closing in on the signing of South American striker Jonathan Calleri.
The Boca Juniors forward has fuelled speculations by posting a farewell message on his Twitter account.
The Argentine striker is regarded as one of the best attacking talents in South America right now and has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
After guiding his side to the Argentine title in November, it appears that Calleri is close to leaving now.
The striker posted a farewell message on his Twitter account.
“Thank you for everything and goodbye”, his tweet read.
Gracias por todo y adios ..

Calleri has already scored 21 goals this season and has contributed with 11 assists as well.
Chelsea’s search for a new striker is no secret. The Blues are looking to add to their goalscoring options in January and it seems that the Premier League giants have found their man.
Calleri is set to join Chelsea in January and earlier L’Equipe have claimed that the striker will cost in the region of 6 million pounds and that a deal has already been agreed.
Signing a talented striker in January will be a crucial deal for the Premier League champions who are severely lacking in goals and are looking to get their season back on track.
Considering their defensive frailties, a proven goalscorer could have a huge impact on their position in the table between January and May.
