Chelsea captain John Terry rejected an unofficial request to join Arsenal this summer.
Arsenal fan and former national newspaper editor, Piers Morgan revealed that he spoke to the Chelsea captain about joining Arsenal.
Spent 20 minutes trying to persuade John Terry to join Arsenal last night, using the ‘Jose don’t love you any more’ line. I failed.

After a disastrous start to the season, Terry js now facing uncertainty about his first eleven future. Following Cech’s move to Arsenal, Terry was approached by Morgan to join his former teammate.
The Chelsea captain however claimed that he would never play for another Premier League side.
Responding to Piers’ claims that Mourinho does not love him anymore, Terry said that Mourinho is his favourite manager and he would throw himself under a bus for the Portuguese.
Speaking to Guardian Football Weekly, Terry said : “I couldn’t do that. I could never play for another Premier League club.”
He also added: “Jose is the best manager i’ve ever had. I would chuck myself under the bus for him”.
Chelsea fans will certainly be happy to hear these words from their captain.
The Blues were left bitterly disappointed with the decisions of Frank Lampard and Petr Cech, both of who joined rival clubs.
