According to reports from the Guardian, James Milner is considering to leave Manchester City in the upcoming summer transfer window. The English International, as per the report has held initial talks with Italian giants Roma and both Milan sides plus two clubs in Spain.

Milner’s contract is set to expire in the summer and the player reportedly wants to move elsewhere for more game-time. He has started 13 times this season and has featured 34 times in all competitions.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini though wants to keep the player. “All the people at the club who decide if James stays or goes want him to stay. There are two parts to a contract and James must decide what he wants to do with his future.”

In fact we had earlier reported that Milner could extend is contract if he is given a four year deal but City are offering three-year package worth £80,000-a-week.

Milner has also been linked with Liverpool and Arsenal but as reports from Liverpool Echo suggests, the Reds are unwilling to pay the player his desired £120,000-a-week wages that he currently earns at the Etihad side.

Elsewhere, DAILY STAR have published in an exclusive report that Roma preparing huge £18.1m deal for securing Milner’s services are also more than willing to pay his wages.

The capital Italian club are willing to pay Milner £100k a week over the course of a three-year contract after tax. This accounts to wages of £15.6m, while they would also give him a £2.5m signing fee.
