Watford 1-2 Manchester United

Memphis Depay gave United an early lead after picking up a sublime cross from Ander Herrera in the box and volleyed home from six yards out. Troy Deeney equalised for Watford in the second half after scoring from the spot kick. However in the 90th min, Bastian Sweinsteiger scored the winner, after Deeney dragged the ball into the net, failing to clear the shot from the German midfielder.

Chelsea 1-0 Norwich

Diego Costa ends his 603-minute-goal-drought to earn Chelsea a massive victory against Norwich at Stamford Bridge. Although the Blues still lacked confidence at times, but the players did put up a strong performance to end their poor run in the league. Chelsea fans breathed a sigh of relief as they chanted “we’re staying up” after Costa scored.

West Brom 2-1 Arsenal

It looked like Arsenal were going to pick up a comfortable three points when Olivier Giroud gave the Gunners an early lead. But the home side bounced back strongly to make it 2-1 at half time. Mesut Ozil, who registered his 11th assist of the season, hits the woodwork, while Campbell missed a sitter for the visitors. Arsenal earned a penalty at the end after Alexis Sanchez was hauled in the box but Cazorla blazed it over the bar from the spot.

Everton 4-0 Aston Villa

Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley both scored twice to give Everton a comfortable victory over Aston Villa. With those two goals, Lukaku has become the first Belgian player to score over 50 goals in the Premier League.

Newcastle United 0-3 Leicester

Jamie Vardy scored again to keep Leicester’s title hopes alive as they dismantled Newcastle 2-0 at St James’ Park. The Englishman has now scored in 10 consecutive goals to level the record with Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Manchester City 1-4 Liverpool

Liverpool produced a scintillating performance at the Etihad as they humiliate Manchester City 4-1. A mistake from Mangala gave the Reds an early lead. Coutinho and Firmino scored in quick succession to make it 3-0 before 35th minute. Sergio Aguero pulled one back for the home side before half time. City returned stronger in the second half but Liverpool defence stayed resolute. In the end, Martin Skrtel has put the final nail on the coffin with a thunderbolt effort from the edge of the box.
