Diego Costa has been in tremendous form this season and has scored nine goals so far for Chelsea. He was on target against Arsenal, although much of the post-match reaction centred on the two managers, both involving in an edifying tussle on the touch line.

Costa, who is keen to score his first international goal for Spain, feels that it was a trifling issue, as it didn’t result in any injuries. “It was fine, it did him no injury,” said Costa as quoted by Marca.
The former Atletico striker also confirms that he hasn’t had any specific instruction from his manager who was left frustrated as Costa returned injured from Spanish camp last time he was called up for international duty.
“Mourinho hasn’t said anything to me. You have to bear in mind that often I’m the one that makes the decision,” he added.
“I have to see how I’m feeling. I have the trust of the gaffer and the coaching staff here. When I have a problem, I say as much. I wouldn’t come here and play if I were injured because that would make things worse.
Costa has forged a brilliant on-field partnership with midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who has assisted four of his nine goals. Fabregas is likely to be handed a play maker’s role by Spain coach Vicente del Bosque for the two upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers, a good reason why Costa should be optimistic to end his goal drought for Spain.
