For the past few months, English and the Italian media have reported Arsenal’s strong interest in Palermo forward Paulo Dybala. Recently, Palermo’s president Zamparini confirmed in the press that Arsenal and several other clubs are interested in singing Dybala and that the player’s future would be solved in the next few days.

According to Gianluca di Marzio, Juventus are closing in on securing a deal for Dybala. Juventus were in contact with Palermo for the past month or so and were thought to be leading the chase to sign Dybala. The Argentine is now closer to the Bianconeri, who have a meeting scheduled with the Sicilian club to sort out the finer details.

The meetings are expected to take place after Juventus’s return match against Real Madrid. Dybala’s agent Triulzi is still in Buenos Aires, and probably that’s why the deal hasn’t been completed yet.

The finer details will mainly be around having bonuses in the deal. Juventus’ offer is very high and Di Marzio claims that conversations between the parties suggest the deal is very close.

Palermo are asking a transfer fee in the region of €40m but the deal could be sorted out within €28-32m plus bonuses. At this moment, there are no talks of any player being included in the deal, which means Juventus are likely to pay the cash upfront. As it stands, Juventus could be Dybala’s future club in the summer.
