Chelsea defender, Kurt Zouma admitted that Diego Costa loves to cheat a lot. The French centre back also claimed that Costa is a really nice guy.
Diego Costa has been the talk of the town after the Chelsea striker managed to get Gabriel sent off during Chelsea’s match against Arsenal. The Chelsea striker was also pictured trying to slap Koscielny and then eye gouge him.
While the British media continue to fill their front pages asking for a lengthy ban, Costa’s teammate Kurt Zouma has not done him any favours.
Zouma who scored an important goal against Arsenal admitted that Chelsea player’s are aware of Costa’s attitude and that the Brazilian loves to cheat and affect games.
He said: “No, we’re not surprised because we know Diego. Everyone knows Diego and this guy likes to cheat a lot and put the opponent out of his game.
“That happened in the game but he’s a really nice guy. We’re proud to have him, like the other players, and we’re happy to win this game today.”
Diego Costa will not be happy to hear these comments from Zouma. Especially the timing of these comments could well land the Chelsea forward in trouble.
Costa could be suspended for his antics on Saturday and the Chelsea player will learn his fate later today.
