Paulo Dybala has become one of the hottest properties in Europe following his sensational season for Palermo, where he scored 11 goals and grabbed seven assists to his name.
The 21-year-old has been linked with some heavy weight European clubs, while Palermo could be willing to sell him at the right price.
Dybala has a reported release clause of £25m, but Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has made it clear that he would sell their prized asset only to the highest bidder.
The youngster is wanted by several Italian clubs as well, like Juventus and Roma, but Serie A clubs do not have the financial muscle to sign him that leaves Premier League as Dybala’s possible future destination.
Recently, Corriere dello Sport had claimed that Arsenal were stepping up the chase and their officials would be holding a meeting with Palermo executives over a possible summer transfer.
However, Italian website TMW in their Exclusive report claims that London rivals Chelsea are in advanced position to sign him having made direct contacts with Palermo’s sporting director and the deal could be resolved in the next few days.
Dybala is an exciting young talent but will he get regular game time at Chelsea? On the other hand Arsene Wenger has always taken great care of young talents and therefore Arsenal could be an attractive option for the Argentine.
