Chelsea have already started planning for the summer transfer window. If the reports are to be believed the Blues have almost secured the services of Diego Costa while are also interested in Atletico Madrid left back Filipe Luis.
The Blues are also planning to bring back Thibaut Courtois back to the club. The young Belgian goal keeper hasn’t played a single match for Chelsea and has been out on loan to Atletico for three successive seasons.
El Confidencial reported yesterday that Courtois is 100 per cent to return to Chelsea, but Catalan press, both Mundo Deportivo and Sport believe that Barcelona won’t give up on their target easily.
Mundo Deportivo today reported that Barcelona officials are informed that Belgian goal keeper is desperate to join the Catalan club, and he is even willing to hand in a transfer request and force Chelsea to sell him.
The Catalan press says that it’s better for Courtois to hand in a transfer request because he never had any connection with the Blues, despite having a contract till 2016. Andoni Zubizarreta however prefers Ter Stegen as first choice keeper for Barcelona.
