The Chelsea midfielder was spotted walking down the centre of the Catalan capital in the company of his wife Daniella Semaan and his daughter.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Fabregas has used this trip to visit the Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and his family, with whom he maintains a good relationship.
Barcelona face German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League first-leg semi final on Wednesday at the Camp Nou.
Fabregas has played a key role for Chelsea this season, where he scored five goals and managed 20 assists in all competitions.
