With thousands of eager sports fans clamouring to be on the waiting list, and some of the world’s foremost football blogs becoming part of their close-knit partnership; its clear that ‘Boutline’, the newest footballing portal on the internet, means serious business.

The brain child of like-minded football fanatics, Boutline looks to incorporate everything the everyday fan needs to enjoy the beautiful game – and then some!

“My view on traditional sports experiences is that they’re pretty fragmented,” said Febin John James, co-founder and CTO of Boutline, before opening night on January 10th,

“Boutline gives you one place for news, photos, stats, social media, fantasy etc. making it the one stop destination for fans”

To a word, Febin is right. For too long I’ve had multiple tabs up on my laptop, sucking my computer memory dry in an attempt to keep on top of the writhing beast that is top flight football. News websites, fixture lists, live scores, player stats…the list goes on.

But now with Boutline, the lot can be found on one easy to use, expertly designed site.

Straightforward to set up – just bash in a username and password and you’re away – Boutline’s first port of call is to log your teams of interest. Love Liverpool? Adore Auxerre? Partial to Parma? Tell Boutline, and all the latest information and communities will be ready to go.

The home page is full of the latest articles from some of the best blogs and websites across the globe, and after you’ve started following other users, you’ll be part of an ever expanding community with (almost) the same level of love for the game as you!

A hotely debated subject keeping you up at night? A player playing out of his skin and is deserving of praise? Boutline also gives users the chance to start their own sports blog, with a budding footballing community just waiting to hear what YOU have to say!

With the unique ‘Bout Score’, a system used to measure members’ activity and engagement, you can not only find, follow and interact with the most influential users on the site, but also add your name to the top echelons of the Boutline community by blogging, contributing, and basically, making a name for yourself!

I, for one, couldn’t resist wading into the Leo Messi debate, and the question of whether the Argentine captain could ever leave the Camp Nou. Suffice it to say, I came down rather heavily on one side with my first blog post…

Logging on match day, and I was able to enter the ‘Arsenal Den’ and follow the Gunners’ match at the Liberty Stadium against Stoke on Sunday, arguably the club’s bogey team of the past few seasons. Here, had access the latest news from the game, a live members chat, and a host of other options; putting me that bit closer to Arsene Wenger’s side’s comfortable win (and Alexis Sanchez’ man of the match performance).

I was also provided with a number of the January transfer rumours, with Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko the latest name to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium. Not one that I think will materialise; but who doesn’t love bit of gossip!

“Boutline was founded on the fundamental belief that deeply passionate communities are built around sports teams. The vision of Boutline is to become the number one destination for fans of all sports,” said Boutline’s CEO, Anand Satyan,

“With a prelaunch waiting list of 10,000 fans and state of the art technology backing a well designed product, we are well on our way to getting there.”

“The fans that make up those groups have incredibly unique memories, experiences, and one-of-a-kind moments that create a very special bond. Boutline has always been about giving fans a platform to share those moments.”

With a mobile app on the way and already more than 10,000 subscribers, Boutline has already built a strong, varied community – climb aboard!
