Barcelona have turned down the chance to sign Chelsea winger Pedro on loan.
The former Barcelona winger has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge since his £21m move to Chelsea and is available on loan according to reports in Spain.
Spanish newspaper Sport has claimed that the Blues are keen to get rid of deadwood in their squad and are ready to offload him to Barcelona on loan.
The report also states that Pedro regrets his move to Stamford Bridge and would consider a move away.
Pedro has won almost every trophy with Barcelona and Spain including the Champions League, Euros and the World Cup. However, the Spaniard decided to end his time at Camp Nou due to the lack of first team action.
What looked like an intelligent move back in the summer has gone horribly wrong so far.
Pedro has not only struggled to replicate his form from Barcelona, the player has struggled to cope with the physical demands of the Premier League as well.
The 28-year-old has made 18 Premier League appearances for the Blues this season and has scored just twice. It is evident that his plan to join Chelsea in search of first team football has not quite worked out and both parties are willing to work out a solution.
