According to Mundo Deportivo, David Moyes is interested in signing Arsenal forward, Joel Campbell for Real Sociedad.
The Costa Rican has struggled to break into Arsenal’s first team this season, having made only 10 appearances from the bench. Moyes is believed to be interested in loaning the World Cup star along with a few other familiar faces from the Premier League.
‘I’d like to add one or two to the squad, but on loan if it can be done.
‘I’ve got one or two in mind and maybe some from back home who would like the opportunity to come and play in Spain. If there’s one market I know best at the moment then it’s the British market.’ he said.
Campbell is thought to growing increasingly frustrated with life at the Emirates and has been linked with several moves away from the club. Should La Real come up with a concrete offer, the Costa Rican is more than likely to grab the opportunity with both hands as he continues to search for more first team football.
Joel Campbell looks set to be the second forward departure at the Emirates this January, following the exit of Lukas Podolski. The German has been a fan favorite at the North London club due to his passion for the club and affection towards the fans.
Podolski’s departure is thought to have disappointed the Arsenal camp who will now prepare for the exit of Campbell.
