Arsenal will face the best of Major League Soccer in the MLS All-Star game in San Jose, California this summer.
The match will be held at the Avaya Stadium on July 28.
Arsenal are currently fighting in the EPL title race and take on league leader Leicester City on Sunday, in a match that could potentially decide which way the Premier League crown is headed.
The Gunners team, managed by Arsene Wenger, includes superstars Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Petr Cech among other big names.
Arsène Wenger said: “Pre-season is a critically important time for us and we are delighted to be going to San Jose and Los Angeles to participate in the 2016 MLS All-Star game and to play Chivas.
“We have tremendous support across America and enjoyed our visit to New York in the summer of 2014 when we played the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena. We look forward to giving our US fans the chance to see the team play live.”
MLS All-Star teams have previously featured former Arsenal players Thierry Henry and Freddie Ljungberg. This season the tie could be made more exciting with the likes of Kaka and Didier Drogba featuring in the All-Star team.
“We are pleased to welcome Arsenal, one of the most successful clubs in the world, to compete against the best of MLS,” said MLS commissioner Don Garber.
