Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is set to become the third Gunners star to agree a new contract at the club, with the Spaniard to sign a deal to keep him at the club until 2017.
According to the Daily Mail, the Spanish attacker is to follow Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky and agree a contract extension, which will see him earn an improved £80k per-week in North London.
This represents yet another success for the club and for Arsene Wenger, who is continuing to tie his best stars down with new lucrative contracts.
Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson all signed contract extensions just over a year ago; while Wojciech Szczesny put pen-to-paper to improved terms back in November.
The Gunners boss revealed last week that Czech captain Rosicky was sure to continue at the club, with the 33-year-old set to sign a rolling one-year contract. German giant Mertesacker is also set to sign a new deal to take him up to 2017.

Arsenal’s primary concern is Bacary Sagna, who still looks to be heading for the exit this summer, having so far failed to agree terms over a new deal at the club.
