Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has hinted his side could make a move in signing AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao in the next summer transfer window.

The Spanish giants have already added Gareth Bale to their squad on a world record transfer in September and a move for the Colombian striker would make them the dominant force in Europe.

Should Madrid add Falcao to their team next summer, it is likely to be the end of Karim Benzema’s future at the Santiago Bernabéu. Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea have been boosted in adding the French international to their squad in the next year’s transfer window.

Soccerlens will take a look at the possible options in England and clubs who are likely to make a move for Benzema either in January or next summer.

Arsenal

Arsene Wenger is using a lone player up front, having deployed Olivier Giroud up front as the main striker up front in most of their matches played this season. The Gunners were strongly linked with a move for Liverpool star Luis Suarez in the summer and have made multiple bids for the Uruguayan, which was turned down by the Reds’ chiefs.

The North Londoners are looking to bring in a world class striker to partner and the addition of Benzema to their starting line up is likely to further strengthen their strike force. The former Lyon man has already proved his worth at the domestic and European stage and his addition to Arsenal could make them a formidable force.

Chelsea

The Europa League winners are in search for a striker after missing out on several high-profile players in the continent over the summer. José Mourinho was keen on signing the England international Wayne Rooney after former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had earlier admitted the 27 year old had asked to leave the club.

However, the English champions knocked down Chelsea’s approach in Rooney as their new manager David Moyes was keen on keeping the striker at the club. The Blues signed Samuel Eto’o, who along with Fernando Torres and Demba Ba have failed to fire for the Stamford Bridge club.

Should the Portuguese tactician make an approach for his former player in the upcoming transfer window,  it could bolster their striker force. Benzema could be a missing puzzle in Chelsea’s squad as the West London side are long been looking to add a world class striker to their squad.
