Arsenal have agreed a £16 million deal with Manchester United for striker Danny Welbeck, the BBC claims.
Danny Welbeck has been strongly linked to Arsenal this evening, both on a permanent or loan deal.
Sky Sports had earlier said that Arsenal had categorically ruled out that Danny Welbeck had undergone a medical at the club.

Danny Welbeck came through the Manchester United youth academy where he has gone on to score 20 goals in 90 Premier League appearances for the English giants.
The England international had spent periods on loan at Preston North End and Sunderland before becoming a first-team player at Old Trafford.
Welbeck has 26 caps for the England national team, scoring eight goals under Roy Hodgson.
Sky Sports pundit Alan Smith and talkSport host Stan Collymore have both said tonight that their sources are telling them that Welbeck will be an Arsenal play by the end of the transfer window.
Olivier Giroud is out until the new year leaving Gunners boss Arsène Wenger with no proven striker in the Premier League. Yaya Sanogo is yet to score in 10 Premier League appearances up front but Alexis Sánchez, Theo Walcott and Joel Campbell are all capable of playing in that position.
