Over the past few weeks, Lukas Podolski’s future at Arsenal has been under intense speculations. The German forward is understandably frustrated warming the sidelines and the lack of playing time has hinted that he could move away from the club in the upcoming January transfer window.
Inter Milan have been interested in the player and according to reports from the trusted and reliable TMW website, the Nerazzurri chief Piero Aid wants to bring Podolski to the San Siro outfit as early as next week. Gianluca Di Marzio has also indicated that Inter have an agreement with the 29 year old whose future now looks away from Emirates.
A loan move looks set to be on the cards with Inter possibly offering €5m-€6m to make the deal permanent at the end of the season. Arsene Wenger was asked about Podolski’s future at the club yesterday after the Gunner’s 2-1 win over West Ham United, “In January, Ozil be returning and there will be a lot of competition up front. But at the moment there is nothing concrete about the player’s move”
