Arsenal and Liverpool have today been linked with Benfica attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca.
The Brazilian is taking the Portuguese Primeira Liga by storm following his €4 million move to Lisbon over the summer.
Talisca has scored six goals in his seven league appearances for Benfica and has attracted attention from a number of bigger clubs around Europe already.
The 20-year old is predominantly playing as the support striker for Benfica where he is finding space between the midfield and defence to score goals against the weaker opposition. Benfica are yet to play FC Porto so far this season when Talisca would be challenged. He failed to score in the 1-1 draw at home to Sporting Club earlier this season.
His six goals have come again three opponents – a hat-trick versus Vitória, a brace against Estoril and Sunday’s 17-yard strike to open the scoring against Arouca, before the Super Eagles went on to win 4-0
Portuguese newspaper Record are linking Talisca with a move to the two English Premier League giants today.
Anderson Talisca has a €45 million release in his contract but neither Arsenal or Liverpool would be expected to fork out that much for the youngster who only moved from Brazilian side Bahia this summer.
