Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has expressed his desire to play in a foreign league in the future, putting the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, and especially Juventus, on red alert.
The French international has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season and has been linked with a move to Premier League outfits. The 22-year-old admits wanting a switch to a ‘big club’, with special mention given to Serie A leaders Juventus,
Lacazette revealed to Italian publication TuttoSport that the lure of the Old Lady would be hard to turn down,
“Would I like to play for Juventus? I’d be a liar if I said no,” he said.
“I’m tempted to try and experience abroad at a big club. And Juventus are one of the greatest clubs in Europe.
“Are Arsenal and Liverpool interested in me? I repeat that an experience in another major championship fascinates me. But for now I just think of doing well for Lyon, the club where I have grown up.
“My contract expires in 2016, so we must see what the president [Jean-Michel] Aulas will say and decide.”
Arsenal are in the market for a deputy for overburdened Olivier Giroud, as Nicklas Bendtner is almost guaranteed to leave the Emirates in the summer.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are gearing up to use the transfer window to it’s fullest effect, with the club certain to finish in a Champions League place, Brendan Rodgers wants enough squad depth to remain competitive in all major competitions nest season.
